my old friend reid plays soccer from time to time with these cats from spain (that’s reid in the background in the white shorts). i caught one of their games last week at pier 40. i think they won 80-1. downside was that reid’s friend vic had to go to the hospital [...]

played music with mike, ben and owen a couple weeks ago at funkadelic studios. the highlights included our cover of “acid rain” (based on the youtube favorite “chocolate rain”) and a few other epic improvisations.

saw marco benevento (benevento/russo duo), reed mathis (jacob fred jazz odyssey) and andrew barr (the slip) at joe’s pub on friday. fun show at a small seated venue. $11 vodka tonics – whew. clearly in ny.
went to see my friend caitlin’s street hockey team play in the btsh tournament last weekend. they lost in a double overtime shootout.. a rough way to end the season but it was a great game.
