saw a lovely puppet show in chicken john’s living room last sunday. the evening started with “man-killers of india” and “ragnarok” by apocalypse puppet theater (oakland, ca), then we had a little vaudeville halftime show, and we finished off with “the black wallows foundling hospital” by the black forest fancies (new orleans, la). the black forest fancies were not only puppeteers but also excellent singers.
