reba became a doctor last weekend, complete with hood and PhD and a disturbingly technical lecture on the behavior of kv7 proteins. i’m not going to pretend i understood much of the lecture but it was very impressive and interesting to learn a bit more about exactly what she’s been up to for the past few years. i actually felt a bit less nerdy after spending an hour listening to microbiology lingo sail over my head.
went to the annual valentine’s day pillow fight last week, shot 260 photos and got hit on the head 6 times. good thing pillows are so soft. fun to see so many people smiling in one place.

went to see chicken john’s circus redickuless a couple weeks ago. plenty of silliness for everyone. this is a photo of seahorses jumping through a hoop.
