was lucky enough to meet up with my friend sarah from college when i went back east for the holidays. this also meant i was able to spend some time getting to know her adorable kids. i took this one of photogenic young sylvie during our trip to the gym in suburban maryland.

took this shot at night with my new panasonic lx3. so far very pleased with what this little camera can do. was just tired of dragging my nikon d300 around everywhere with me..
taken on the beach in maui around midnight. i think this is my favorite picture from the maui trip.
this looks like an awkward position for those arms but i assure you it was completely normal.. he’s just throwing sand into the sea.
