wiggins hosted a crawdad boil a few weeks back. lotta work gettin in dem critters but good eatin.
had a wonderful time at lovefest (again). one of my favorite street festivals in san francisco. the weather was great, people were great, costumes were great, music was great. so, yeah, great. it was.

took this at ron’s place mid-barbeque a few weeks ago. ron has a sweet retro booth in his kitchen, complete with classic diner (mp3) jukebox.
spent a few days in vegas at the shop.org conference. vegas is not my favorite city, let’s just leave it at that.
heavily modified this one in the (digital) darkroom.. lightroom 2 is starting to grow on me, other than a few annoying bugs.
my favorite shot of our art car this year. caught a smoke ring, our neighbors’ castle, and andy’s cowboy hat along with max’s glowing orbs of LED goodness.
burning man is always a great place to take pictures (if you can keep your camera safe from the dust). i didn’t shoot a whole lot this year but still managed to get some pictures i really liked.

went to all three days of the outside lands festival. it was.. okay. highlights were benevento/russo, sharon jones & the dap kings, regina spektor, nellie mckay, wilco and radiohead (despite the fact that i couldn’t actually see the stage for most of their show.. why wasn’t the stage higher?)
getting out of the park friday night was definitely an adventure. a woman behind me at one point said “i feel like we’re camping! weren’t we just at a concert?”
helped a bit with the team art car after i got back from europe. here’s a shot of the LED rig that max dreamed up, ready to be mounted on the car trailer.
had a great time with james and amanda in london. even got to play some tennis in the rain as the weather finally fell below 80 (i think for the first time in the three weeks i’d been in europe).
