in canada the whiskey jacks (birds) were very bold. so, naturally, kevin and brian started feeding them. after getting them to eat right out of their hands, the game changed to getting them to eat off kevin’s head.

which, of course, they were more than happy to do.

angie and quintin came over a few weeks ago. i don’t think the three of us had been together in 15 years.

my first experiment with stringing together hundreds of still photos into a time lapse. i export from lightroom to HD video jpegs and then have quicktime pull all the jpegs into a movie. this one is 10 frames per second.

went to their NightLife event a few weeks ago. fun night, good tunes, no kids, adult drinks, and fun costumes. this jellyfish was, sadly, not in costume for yuri’s night.

got stuck in DC a couple weeks ago and wound up flying straight back to san francisco because my connection to greensboro was canceled too many times.

took this shot from the plane as i was about to fly home. the entire coast-to-coast and back took 26 hours.
