was exploring jerusalem with a friend when this impromptu street party broke out. first there was music, then about 10-12 people dancing, then hundreds of people in the streets, dismantling the water mister to spray each other. so much fun.
almost completely self-contained home (solar, water, food, etc.) located in a community of earthships outside of taos, nm
view from the back side of mount tabor. if it weren’t cloudy you could see mount hood in the distance but, well, it’s portland so.. cloudy.
when we were in texas i was experimenting with taking pictures from a moving car (highway speeds). most of them didn’t turn out that well but a few had this vaguely 3D effect with some things in sharp focus and other things not.
shot this from my hotel room the last time i was in chicago. it was rainy, dark and late. small tripod on the windowsill for 8 seconds did the trick. more dynamic black & white on the lumix lx3.
