another shot from yuri’s night at nasa. i didn’t know this when i took the picture but the people in this shot are some of my closest friends.
went down to NASA’s moffett field for yuri’s night this year and caught this rockin dance party in progress. these ladies were gettin’ down!

we stalk him via twitter. tracking him down is sometimes difficult but worth it.
when we were in texas i was experimenting with taking pictures from a moving car (highway speeds). most of them didn’t turn out that well but a few had this vaguely 3D effect with some things in sharp focus and other things not.

yes, it’s just people bonking each other with pillows but i still enjoy going. the spirit of the thing is right on – you see a lot of smiles.
